What the listing does not preserve
A listing may change or disappear after the sale, while a message thread may not show the final price, condition and included items agreed at pickup. Record those final details before the buyer leaves.
What to capture at pickup
- The exact item, model and any useful serial or identifying number.
- The agreed price, payment method and everything included.
- Condition, wear, repairs and known issues in plain language.
- Photos showing the item and any disclosed damage.
